Heliskiing. The neighbouring italian Aosta Valley is renowned throughout the world for its heliskiing. Thus bordering Italy, Sainte-Foy is one of the only spots left in France where heliskiing is still possible.
Ski-touring. Sainte-Foy is also quite famous for its numerous off piste routes (always accompanied by an instructor /guide), leading to summits between 9.500 and 12.500 feet of elevation.
Snowshoe walking. Sainte-Foy boasts loads of snowshoe tracks winding through its spruce and larch tree forests,especially towards Le Monal, Le Planay, or La Chapelle Saint-Guérin.
Dog sledging. Drive your own sledge pulled by a team of husky dogs led by a professional guide, and discover the snow-covered landscapes of Sainte-Foy on halfday, whole day, or two days with a night in a refuge.
Walking. In Sainte-Foy you will enjoy more than 70 kilometers of marked paths. Set between 3.300 and 12.300 feet of elevation, on the outskirts of the Vanoise National Park, and along the italian border.
Climbing. Three different spots offer various climbing walls featuring difficulties from 4 up to 8a according to the french rating system : Le Pré (La Mazure), La Combe (Le Monal) and Le Ruitor (Vallon de La Sassière). Some “via ferrata” are also available.
Mountain biking. Touring, downhill or raids in a breathtaking scenery.
Paragliding. Free flying, tandem flights ,training courses for all ability levels.
Rafting, canyoning, canoeing. On the world-famous Isère river, or in the Aosta Valley, unlimited white water adventures.
